Teenager Xiaochun have always hated his step-parents, for they only love his younger sister Rong, and he even set fire on his house and kill them. Since then Xiaochun has disappeared for 20 years. Rong (Fan Bingbing), now a 24-year-old girl, knows nothing about what her brother has done, although she can never forget her parents' death. One day Xiaochun (Nick Cheung) surprisingly re-appears as her best friend's fiancee. Meanwhile, she also comes across a man (Anthony Wong) who has her late father's camera at hand. She then starts investigating on the fire that destroyed her family two decades ago, without knowing the danger ahead...
