Дебютный концерт состоялся в клубе «TaMtAm». В 1994-96 музыканты принимали участие в многочисленных петербургских акциях и фестивалях. В 1996 был записан дебютный альбом, выпущенный в 1997 на «DDT Records». Группа выступала в клубах Москвы и Санкт-Петербурга.

Девушки в команде появились не сразу - сначала пел Сергей Карпов. "В какой-то момент ребята сказали мне: Серега, а может, ты больше не будешь петь? И я подумал: жалко, конечно, но для группы и вправду лучше..." О женском вокале никто не думал до тех пор, пока не появилась Наташа Козловская. Пришла, спела песню "Негры" - понравилось. Стало понятно, что тексты песен надо немедленно переписать от женского лица, Хомяков так и сделал... "Через неделю после Наташиного появления мы пошли на студию, записали "Негров". Вообще нужно было торопиться - радио "Балтика" объявило конкурс, победитель которого получал право бесплатно записать альбом. Это был просто космос... За полчаса до окончания приема конкурсных работ мы ее отдали. Ждали результатов, репетировали, и как-то подумали: почему бы еще одну девушку не позвать? Так пригласили Аню Столярову - старую знакомую и к тому же скрипачку... А потом нас покинул гитарист. Вообще с гитаристами S.P.O.R.Tу долго не везло. Какое-то время играли в одну гитару, называя это "русский минимализм". Поиски вели постоянно, но оптимизма не было... И вот однажды пришли мы с Карповым на концерт группы "УЕ". Смотрю на их гитариста и завидую: вот бы нам такого. Хотел предложить поиграть вместе, но думал - откажется..."

Недостатка в концертах модный проект S.P.O.R.T. не испытывал. Помимо "родных" клубов "ТАМ ТАМ" и "Инди", приглашали в самые разные заведения. Своими концертами открывали клубы. Своими концертами закрывали клубы. За три года выступили во всех возможных и отчасти невозможных питерских местах. В 1996 году приняли участие в стадионном мероприятии - фестивале "ДДТ". Сомнения организаторов по поводу включения группы в программу развеялись под сокрушительным обаянием Сергея Карпова. В итоге "Театр ДДТ" не прогадал, после выступления перспективной группе был предложен контракт. Полтора месяца ребята работали ночами, и под Новый год (1997-й) выпустили альбом под названием "S.P.O.R.T.". Оттуда и первый хит группы - песня "Танго", написанная накануне самого первого выступления в клубе "ТАМ ТАМ". Аранжировку до конца продумать не успели, девушки толком не выучили слова, спели как было, но зрителей зацепили.

Soup is opened with an offbeat horn and vocal intro that segues into the outstanding "Galaxie". This song is fast paced but with melodies to die for. Another highlight is "Vernie", a touching tribute to Shannon Hoon's grandmother set to a mellow, almost psychadelic musical backdrop. "Toes Across the Floor" is probably my favorite song from Soup, if not my favorite Blind Melon song of all time. Dark, brooding verses explode into a screaming chorus that perfectly represents the hopelessness of Hoon's addictions. "St. Andrew's Fall" is another benchmark in quality and it's probably the most complicated Blind Melon song, consisting of three very distinct sections that stir up many emotions, good and bad. "New Life" is the album's most heart-wrenching song, with Shannon singing the line "when I'm looking into the eyes of our own baby will it bring new life into me?". Shannon was a great person, someone hopelessly addicted. He wanted badly to be a father, but the grip of addiction was too strong and he is missed. "Mouthful of Cavities" is the album's last highlight, the song that sparked my love for the music of Blind Melon with its acoustic guitar and vocal interplay between Shannon and a girl named Jena Kraus.

In truth, I could rave about every song contained within this disc; there is no filler and every song is well written and well performed. Sometimes when listening to Soup I shudder when I think of what Blind Melon could have accomplished. To the few Blind Melon die-hards, this album is a classic. To those who know of Blind Melon only through the "No Rain" video: there is much more to this band. This is a classic album of the 1990s and should be in every self respecting alternative/rock fans collection.

By and large, the Hellacopters return with a straightforward, basic rock and roll album on their release By the Grace of God. What I love about the Hellacopters' direction, as well as their contemporaries Soundtrack of our Lives, is the forgotten use of piano in rocking out. Due to their love of 60's - 70's punk - hard rock, it really comes through on this release. Great interplay between the rythmn section, guitars and drums. I can't beleive another reviewer felt it was a Boston - Foreigner direction the Copters were going in - I don't hear it. In a way. the Copters seem headed for the same prize as the Black Crowes did before the attention went to their heads. At least, the Copters are unpretentious, direct and sound great on this release.

Social Distortion was formed in 1978 out of Fullerton and Huntington Beach, CA. The band began with frontman Mike Ness who brought in a variety of members over the years including Frank and Rikk Agnew, Casey Royer, Brent Liles, Derek O'Brien, and Chris Reece but eventually settling on highschool friend Dennis Danell, John Maurer, Deen Castronovo on drums during recording and D.O.A., Black Flag, Circle Jerks, and Danzig drummer, Chuck Biscuits for touring on the White Light, White Heat, White Trash album. There was a three year hiatus between the release of this album and the previous, Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell (1992) as the band members went through several transitions. Chris Reece was replaced by Randy Carr in 1993 followed by Chuck Biscuits in 1995. Biscuits is listed as the drummer in the album's liner notes; however, Deen Castronovo actually recorded the drum tracks for the album.

The title of the album is a play on the Velvet Underground album, White Light/White Heat (1968). The Velvet Underground record is known for being one of the most original, and likely the heaviest heaviest, records of the time, just as White Light, White Heat, White Trash for Social Distortion has a harder sound than those albums preceding it.

A squirrel who forgot to store nuts for the winter, a bear too restless to hibernate, and an evergreen too crooked to be chosen as a Christmas tree form the band of misfits in this animated rehash of a popular Christmas theme (i.e., everyone has value; beauty comes from within). The animal pair decide to decorate the gentle tree (cheerfully rendered by voice-over veteran Debi Derryberry), starting with a nutcracker they find in a trash can. The crotchety nutcracker (voiced with quintessential cantankerousness by Ed Asner) complains about the tree, but has a Santa-inspired change of heart. While the dialogue can be painful for adults, young children will enjoy the bear's wintertime antics and may find humor in Tim Conway's meanderings as the squirrel. Another plus: narrator Marie Osmond's reverential renditions of "O Christmas Tree" sandwich the 47-minute story. (Ages 2 and older) --Kimberly Heinrichs

Aditya (Shahid Kapur), a defeated industrialist, is even more broken as the girl he loves is getting married. Unable to muster up the courage to return home, he drifts out of the gathering and aimlessly boards a train, bounding away into the night. As destiny would have it, on the train he meets Geet (Kareena Kapoor) – a beautiful but annoyingly talkative girl who is leaving Mumbai to go her hometown – Bhatinda (Punjab). Later, she has plans of eloping with her boyfriend. Geet irritates Aditya to the point of getting him to leave the train. As she tries to get him back on the train, she ends up missing it and the two find themselves stranded on a desolate station with no luggage or money. Begins the idyllic journey through the exuberant North Indian heartland in which this odd couple will make their way through buses and taxis and camel-carts, crossing Highways and deserts and lakes, meeting all kinds of people, to reach her house in Punjab. On arrival, Geet's family mistakes the two for lovers. Before this misconception can be cleared, Geet escapes to her boyfriend in Manali. Aditya leaves with her, confirming the suspicion that they are lovers. In Manali, Aditya feels empowered to return to Mumbai and resurrect his ailing business. Life takes a positive turn and Aditya begins to do well. One day Geet's family who think that she is with him confronts Aditya. He is shocked to learn that Geet has not returned home. He takes it upon himself to find her. He finally tracks her down in a Himalayan town and begins another journey to reach Bhatinda and flow into the colors and conceptions of a loud and happy North Indian family!How their separate journeys become one, forms the destination of JAB WE MET, a beautiful and captivating saga of made-for-each-other love. Here's the thing Viola's soccer team at Cornwall got cut so she wanted to join the boys team, but they did not allow. So she thought "If you can't join them, beat them". And so she does, she disguises herself as her twin brother Sebastian, and goes out for the Illyria Boys Soccer Team. But she didn't plan falling in love with her roommate Duke. But the thing is Duke has his eye on Olivia. The thing that makes matters worse Olivia starts to fall for Sebastian who actually is a girl and she/he has a sensitive side. If things couldn't get more problematical the real Sebastian (who is in London working on his music) comes home early. He arrives on campus and has no clue that he was replaced by his twin sister.

Rancher Dan Evans heads into Bisbee to clear up issues concerning the sake of his land when he witnesses the closing events of a stagecoach robbery lead by famed outlaw Ben Wade. No sooner or later, Wade is captured by the law in Bisbee and Evans finds himself one of the escorts who will take Wade to the 3:10 to Yuma train in Contention for the reward of $200. Evans quest for taking Wade to the station is not only for saving for his land but an inner battle that he can be more than just a naive rancher in the eyes of his impetuous and gunslinging son William Evans. The transport to Contention is hazardous and filled with ambushes from Indians, pursuits by Wade's vengeful gang and Wade's own conniving and surreptitious demeanor that makes the ride all more intense.

American Dreamz (2006)

A satire who focuses on reality shows like American Idol. Sally's dream is to become a music star and to participate in American Dreamz show. In order to achieve this, she leaves her boyfriend and mixes up with the host of the program. Summary:

Childhood friends Jimmy Markum (Penn), Sean Devine (Bacon) and Dave Boyle (Robbins) reunite following the death of Jimmy's oldest daughter, Katie (Rossum).
